Moving Is The Worst — 3 Tips to Make It A Little Easier
Nothing stresses me out quite like trying to put my messy life in tidy boxes. Moving is the absolute worst. Every time I do it I say, “I am never moving again.” I am not even going to say that this time. I don’t want to jinx it. This new place is not my forever home, it is temporary, but I would like this to be home for a few years longer than the last two places. When it comes time to move again, however, I have figured out a few things that make the process more manageable. If packing, moving, and unpacking drive you as crazy as I feel right now, try these three things to survive the process with your sanity in tact.

If you are not familiar with the Marie Kondo method of overcoming your material possessions, let me give you a crash course: if you are not using it, if you are holding on to it for sentimental reasons alone, if it overwhelms you, if it doesn’t bring you joy when you hold it in your hands, if you wouldn’t go out and replace it tomorrow after throwing it away today, then you need to let that shit go!
