In 1998 Robert Paxton wrote a paper called The Five Stages of Fascism and in 2004 he published a book called The Anatomy of Fascism. He’s considered the expert on historic fascist leaders and the people, or sometimes even the countries, who followed them.

It would be really interesting to see you write a follow up piece to this one tying the actions of “The Fascist”, as you call him, and the country he leads, to the expert’s parameters of Fascism.

At this time I do not agree one way or another if he is or if he isn’t, but I’d love to see the argument you make.

Also, can you think of any other countries in today’s world who are fascist? How about any homegrown terrorist groups. ANTIFA maybe? Do they fit the expert’s parameters of Fascism?
